Each year the Possibility People at church perform two programs during church on Sunday. The Possibility People are our 1st-5th grade choir. They are so fun to watch! We've gone through stages of not caring about the performance when Jeff and I were newlywed to enjoying our friends' kids to now being surer excited to watch our own kids! I think that when Emma is in 5th grade, we will have a chance to have all four kids in at the same time! :o)
This was Emma's first year to be involved. And, of course, she was great!! This is the second performance of the year; it was titled Spend Awhile on the Nile. The performances always involve songs, actions, dances, and quite a bit of dialogue by the older students. The kids put in a lot of work, and they always make us smile when it comes time to display their hard work!
Here's the crew that carried the play portion of the performance. They always do a great job!
Emma signed up for this performance to be part of a small dance. Here she is being a star. Their costumes were glow in the dark, so I tried to turn off my flash to capture the true effect.
And, one of our favorite surprises was the K's!! They had to pick up some last items leftover from the move, and they made sure to do it on Poss Peep day. Emma was SO SURPRISED and LOVED LOVED seeing Ashlyn! It was a great treat! I think their faces say it all! Also, sweet Aunt Holly and Uncle Ray surprised Ems with flowers. She felt so special and loved the flowers; she made sure they were placed IN her room so that she could enjoy them!
Good job, Ems! We are proud of your hard work!
