Nature Club

My dear Emma has made a club.

Can you read it? It says it very plainly at the top ...

Nature Club

You can also see in the above picture the members of the club and the list of items to finish before and during the meeting:
cookies, capri suns, ?, sweep the deck, ?, read the story, color the pages, sing, hang the picture, make the ?

I LOVE, LOVE that I got a picture of her list! I will treasure that for years to come. I have NO IDEA where she gets the need to make lists upon lists! ;o)

Anyway, Emma has begun her own little club called the Nature Club. She has loved every minute of organizing events for her club. She is constantly thinking of when they can get together and what they can do!

On this particular meeting she made all of the girls climb up to the top of deck.

She spent some time before the meeting creating pictures and decorating the meeting place.
This one says, Nature Party!

This one say, Thank You God!!
I love that she included God in her meeting and decor! She was reminding the girls that God created nature. I think at one point she was even making them recite Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth .."

She designed booklets for them to create a story that would be later presented to the group.

My little lefty filling out her booklet.

As any good leader, she took meticulous notes on the event.

The beautiful Brown girls dutifully filling out their books!

And she made sure to write their name on each book.
Once they complete the booklet, they each got up and read their story.

What meeting is complete without treats?
She made sure the girls had drinks and cookies!

The Nature Club!

My extremely creative little leader.
I was very proud of her hard work and enthusiasm! She still has a few things to learn about gentleness and slow to speak, but she certainly does not lack in enthusiasm and creativity! I am so intrigued to see how God uses this beautiful girl in her future roles!

Flowers Aplenty

May was a month bountiful in flowers around here!

This first bouquet is from my beautiful, amazing friend Sarah. She picked these gorgeous hydrangeas and other flowers from her yard. She knows how much I LOVE, LOVE hydrangeas, and she brought me these in honor of Jeremiah. It was Memorial Day weekend, and she knew that we would be remembering our little guy. It's so comforting to have people who help you to remember and enjoy!

This next little bouquet came from my Awana family.
I retired from my Awana duties in May, and they felt the need to give me some flowers! :o)

These final flowers are from my hubs. I should have taken a pic earlier than I did because they were on their way out at this point. He surprised, and I mean surprised me with these for our anniversary. The florist came to the door and Jeff brought the flowers in. I was completely confused as to WHY on earth he would have bought flowers ... wait for it ... wait for it ... DING! The light went off, and I remembered that our anniversary was the next day. Ha! It's not that I had actually forgotten our anniversary; it's just that I forgot it was our anniversary the next day. We had already made plans to take a trip in June, so I wasn't expecting anything! Well, he helped to make our 11th anniversary extra special! I'm a lucky girl! :o)

Uncle Randal

So, before Uncle Randal left, he bought the boys a shirt.

I guess we will wear them proudly! ;o)

Colaw and Hay Boys

We love it when the Colaw boys come to visit! It is always so much fun to see Ashley's boys play with my guys! I still can't believe we had multiple boys at the same time! It's so fun to have a friend along on this road!

Will missed his morning nap, so he was a bit tired. Add in the LOUD Hay children, and he was a bit upset. He dove onto Jenna's lap and needed her to love him.

She LOVED it!

Jack!

My Jenna and Micah! I love this pic!

The boys!! What a group! This was pic 4 or 5 out of 38 million!

My boys!

I love shots of little ones clapping!

This last two pic was actually taken a few weeks later at another play date.

And, here's my beautiful Ashley with her boys! I just love seeing her as a mommy! She is so great!

We love hanging out with the Colaw boys!

Splash Pad Fun!

It's summer time, and this year we have gotten to enjoy the Splash Pad! Last year, the boys were just too young to go and hang out. So, this year we headed out with the Brown's and Aunt Holly and Little Ray. I wasn't sure how the boys would respond.

They. Loved. It.

Which made me smile so big! It was great to see ALL four of my kiddos engaged in the same activity at the same time. I think I had a moment of bliss even!

Micah stormed right in. He was ready to go!

Noah on the other hand needed a little ... um ... push?!!?

Haha! Noah was a bit uncertain as he always is at new events and walked the perimeter of the SP several times. Micah knew it was so much fun and thought little bro needed help getting wet. Micah is ALWAYS pushing Noah to some place! Perhaps symbolism for their relationship in years to come! :o)

Micah, who is usually nervous of water related events, got right in and loved every minute!

Little Ray and Micah

It was SO windy this day. You can see the wind blowing the water spray straight up!

Addie Lou needed to be rescued from this little climbing adventure! :o)

Noah's starting to warm up! He's laughing from the side lines.

My cute nephew enjoyed the water, too!

Noah ... slowly getting wet. It's a gradual thing with this guy!

And, he's wet!!

And, he loved it!

Not a happy camper, but, oh so cute still!

This has been the pair this summer! Addie and Jenna

This was Jenna's pose when I asked her to smile for the camera!
