Jenna Turns 3!

Jenna, we can hardly believe that you are 3!! What an amazing little girl you are! Your laughter and sweet spirit fill our family with such JOY! We love you Jenna Faith Hay!
We celebrated Jenna's birthday in a fun but low key manner. Since we were coming off of such a rough month (s) and since the boys still could not have contact with people, we decided to do a smallish party at McDonald's. Of course, Jenna loved it because her friends were present, we were at McDonald's, and we had a Dora birthday cake! Here are some pics of the event.
Also, here is a shot of Jenna's 3rd birthday picture with her crown on. I started a tradition with each of the kids to take their pic on their birthday with the same accessory. The girls each have a crown. Here is Jenna at 3.

Just Reading God's Word
and thinking of you.
Psalm 119 is my favorite of all. A few years ago I asked the Lord to show me how to praise Him and we journeyed through the book of Psalms together.....what a blessing. Today I was reading and thinking about my hopes for 2011. I came upon this passage and thought of you.
25 I lie in the dust;
revive me by your word.
26 I told you my plans, and you answered.
Now teach me your decrees.
27 Help me understand the meaning of your commandments,
and I will meditate on your wonderful deeds.
28 I weep with sorrow;
encourage me by your word.
29 Keep me from lying to myself;
give me the privilege of knowing your instructions.
30 I have chosen to be faithful;
I have determined to live by your regulations.
31 I cling to your laws.
Lord, don’t let me be put to shame!
32 I will pursue your commands,
for you expand my understanding.
I love that you're such a first born (just like me), I know that you had a plan and if you're like me you were telling God what it was. I know His answer was unexpected and heart breaking. I will continue to pray that God teaches, explains and encourages and that you are protected from harmful lies. I know that you and Jeff have chosen to be faithful, pursuing God and growing in understanding.
